5 yoga asanas to relieve knee pain

The triangular posture, also known as Trikonasana, is a standing yoga asana, where the body forms the shape of a triangle with the floor. This helps to align the knee joint in the correct position and releases the tension in the muscles around the knees, which gives relief from pain.

Stand with your feet, fingers directed in reverse directions.

Pull your arms to the sides, parallel to the floor.

Tilt the torso to the right, putting your right hand on the shin, ankle or floor.

Pull the left hand to the ceiling above and look at the left hand.

Hold from 10 to 15 seconds and then return to standing.

Repeat on the other side.

This posture improves your flexibility and strengthens the muscles around the knees, helping them function to their optimal level.
