Polycystic ovaries (PCOS) affects many women and often comes with an unpleasant acne symptom. A hormonal imbalance, which determines the SPS, in particular excess androgens or “male hormones”, can increase oil production, pores and launch acne.

This can have a significant impact on a woman’s self -esteem and general well -being. In an interview with HT Lifestyle, D -R Govindorajan, the head of the NDDKR in Copwee, claimed that Ayurveda uses a comprehensive approach to PCOS and acne management, focusing on major hormonal imbalances. He developed –
1. Ashwedha, also known as Indian ginseng or winter cherry
Ashwaganda, a powerful adaptogen, helps to manage stress, the main trigger for both conditions.
2. Shatters or wild asparagus
Shatavari, known for maintaining women’s health, promotes hormonal stability and supports the reproductive system.
3. Nem
Neem is especially effective in regulating oil production by preventing the scored pairs – one of the key factors that contribute to acne in women with PCOs.

4. Tulsi or Holy Vasily
Tulsi, helps control the acne associated with stress while maintaining PCOS symptoms.

5. Yashtimadhu or licorice
Yashtymadhh helps in detoxification, solving an internal imbalance that can lead to skin problems such as acne. This detoxification herb helps to promote clean, healthy skin.

6. Haldi or turmeric
Turmeric, with its powerful anti -inflammatory and healing properties, soothes irritated skin.
7. Triphala or Amla (Indian gooseberries)
Triphala enhances digestion and detoxification, contributing to overall skin from the inside.
Dr. Govindorajan claimed: “Together, these Ayurvedic herbs work in harmony to balance the body and promote more clear skin for those engaged in the PCO.
