And now the buzz is that due to the couple’s “professional separation” – which means they no longer work together – and therefore are not often seen together in public. Harry and Meghan are now working on separate projects, which has sparked rumors of trouble in their paradise.
While Harry is working on the second edition of the Invictus Games in Canada, Meghan is reportedly preparing to launch the American Riviera Orchard in 2025.
In 2020, the couple decided to leave their royal duties in the UK and lead an independent life in the US. But it is now known that while Harry is ready to meet and reconcile with his family, Meghan does not seem to want to return to the UK. Royal writer Omid Scobie suggests in his book Endgame that Meghan Markle “never wants to set foot in England again” because she “never felt at home” when she lived there after marrying Harry. The Sussex couple last traveled to the UK together in 2022 for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. All this fueled even more rumors about problems in Meghan and Harry’s marriage. Meanwhile, the couple either declined or refrained from commenting on the matter.
While there are rumors that Harry and Meghan’s marital problems may have led to their ‘professional separation’, PR expert Ed Coram-James takes a different view. Commenting, Coram-James told The Mirror: “Meghan and Harry’s brand has been irreparably damaged. The constant criticism in the media, fueled by their flawed PR strategies, made co-branding no longer possible.” So Harry is now working on rebuilding his public image.
If you don’t know, Harry and Meghan got married in 2018, and just two years later, the couple decided to give up their royal duties and move to the US to lead a more independent life. Their decision to leave their royal duties was a major blow to the British royal family. Harry and Meghan have also given several explosive interviews about their strained relationship with the royal family, which have not gone down well with the public. Not only that, Harry also released his autobiography ‘Spare’ where he talked about his not-so-good relationship with his family members. However, all this backfired on the Sussex couple and caused serious damage to their image.
Although Harry and Meghan appear to be working separately, it is understood that Meghan and their children will join Harry at the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada.
