Miss Universe contestants visited the temple in Telangan and took part in traditional rites. They wore traditional legeng on this.

The 72nd Miss World Theatrical Competition ends on May 31, and its grand finale will be held at the Hitex Exhibition Center in Telangan, where Miss World 2025 will be crowned. This year Telangan accepts Miss World. Within the framework of the cultural route, the participants of the beauty contest visited the temple in Telangan to experience the rich cultural heritage of the state.

Where did the contestants visit?

Miss Universe contestants, dressed in traditional Indian legeng, visited the Lakshmi Lakshmi Temple of Swami, which is 65 km from Hyderabad. The Deity of the Temple is Lord Naramoha, the fourth avatar of Lord Vishna. Beauty Queen were dressed on the Myriti label, all in a bright Narajanpets and a fad legengas.

Traditional dresses also give honoring the rich textile heritage of Telangan. For accessories, they were decorated with gadgera, bindis, mang interesting and bracelets, throwing all the boxes of complete traditional Indian appearance from the head to toe.

Cultural experience

The contestants treated the holistic cultural experience in the temple. Upon arrival, they participated in the traditional Deeparadhana ceremony, a favorable lamp ritual. After that, they conducted an excursion to the holy site of the temple. It was a complete cultural interaction when the contestants watched the performance of Bharatanatyam, and participated in the Darshan and Puja ceremony. Each participant was presented by the idol of Lord Narasamha as a sign of the visit.

This visit to the Lakshmi Lakshmi Temple was part of Miss World’s constant effort to celebrate cultural diversity and gratitude.
