The man refuses to pick up his wife from the airport; leaves Reddit, divided into someone who is wrong: “she needs to grow”

Going higher and further for your significant other, while forgetting practicality, is often considered a sign of love relationships. However, sometimes logistics can restrain you to express how much your partner means for you.

Recently, the man confesses to refuse to pick up his wife from the airport and asks her to meet him at the hotel, instead left the Internet, divided into the mistake.

“Aita for not choosing her from the airport?”

In a Reddit message, shared on June 14, the user posted his experience with his wife on the Ambhea community page *** Ole (AITA), where people allow the Internet to decide whether they are mistaken or not. The Reddit user showed that he and his wife went to the city, and he arrived there a week earlier and stopped at Airbnb. When his wife arrived later, they had to go to the hotel. So he asked her to come to the hotel herself, because he would take Uber to pick it up.

“She also knows the city well – we actually lived here a year, a couple of years ago, so she was fully familiar with the airport and how to get around. I thought it had more material -technical meaning, but it was very upset when I offered it. Aita for not picking her up from the airport?” he asked Reddit.

Later, the man added that he used to be on business trips, and his wife never came to meet him at the airport, and he was always there. So he thought it was not a big deal for her, and planned a business meeting around her arrival time.

How did the internet react?

Reddit users disagreed with her husband and emphasized that he should not have approached the situation with practical thinking. “No. You think about practical logistics. She thinks she wants to see her partner as soon as possible, and that they will be happy to see her as soon as possible,” one user commented.

Another commented, “No hole is A **, but pleasing spouses sometimes required to make you much better than ** hole.”

The comment states: “Nobody is ah, but it’s a good gesture to meet your partner or a loved one at the airport, and it shows you are pleased to see them. It seems like you are more practical and your wife sounds more romantic and sensitive.”

The other said, “The feelings of your wife are worthy of the extra trip Uber, even if you think unnecessary.”

Some Reddit users supported her husband. One user wrote: “If I have to take a taxi to meet the husband and wife from whom I was for one week, and she comes to the place where she lived, nothing romantic in this at all. I believe the wife is funny.” Another commented: “He arrived a week earlier – this level of emotional service is not for me. I think my wife should grow.”

While romantic gestures are a sign of flowering relationships, dragging war between practicality and emotional gestures can often lead to a particular partner. The choice of her husband had material -technical meaning, but his wife and many Reddit users thought he did not notice the emotional value of the simple act – citing a loved one at the airport. None of the sides is quite wrong; It’s about different expectations.
