In a candid video, she said: “You know, I would have told my younger self to never get a tattoo. never. Never ever. Someday, get a tattoo.” Although she smiled throughout the video, her message was clear: tattoos, in her experience, were not something she would recommend. The strong words were a throwback to how she now feels about inking that she did in the past.
Despite her current attitude towards tattoos, Samantha has three on her body. One of them is YMC’s back tattoo depicting the title of her first film Ye Maaya Chesave released in 2010. This film, which also starred her then husband Naga Chaitanya, was a milestone in her career and marked the beginning of their relationship. The second tattoo is on her right side, near her ribs, with the word “Chay” written in cursive. This tattoo is a tribute to Naga Chaitanya’s nickname, a personal gesture that was meaningful during their marriage. A third tattoo is on her right wrist with a symbol of two arrows pointing upwards, a design that was similar to the one Naga Chaitanya also had on his wrist.

The couple released a joint statement saying, “After much thought and consideration, Chai and I have decided to separate as husband and wife to go our separate ways.” They emphasized their longtime friendship, which was the foundation of their relationship, and asked for privacy as they move forward.
