Have you heard of intermittent fasting? This style of restricted eating involves certain rules, which may include fasting in the morning or choosing to eat only at certain times of the day. According to Shika Singh — a nutritionist who offers weight loss programs, according to her Instagram bio — her intermittent fasting diet plan played a big role in her dramatic 50 kg weight loss. In a recent post, Sheeha, who continues to share posts about how lifestyle changes helped her lose 50 kg, shared weight loss tips with her followers. In her caption, she wrote: “How I lost 50kg… a complete intermittent fasting diet plan… simple and convenient.”
“Magical” morning drink and breakfast
In the accompanying video, Sheeha shared her intermittent fasting diet plan, saying, “Want to know the secret diet plan for my 50kg weight loss? Start your morning with the magical amla juice. It will help you lose weight and improve the quality of your skin and hair; find the recipe on my YouTube channel or Instagram.”
She added: “For breakfast I had methi roti plus 50g paneer bhurji with lots of vegetables and sugar free tea. I tried to squeeze seasonal vegetables into the year. For a morning snack, I had 150 g of freshly cut and seasonal fruit.”
Rice for lunch and dinner
Shikha then said, “Lunch consisted of plain rice (100g cooked) plus dal (100g cooked) and curd (100g low fat) with a green salad. For an evening snack, I had black coffee and homemade namkeen for weight loss; you can find the recipe on my YouTube channel or Instagram. I always had dinner from 6 to 7 in the evening – rice (100 g boiled) with chicken curry (150 g) and salad.”
She also added some more tips to help you lose weight faster, saying: “Drink 3 liters of water throughout the day, get 7-8 hours of sleep and take a 30-minute walk for a physical transformation like me. It’s very simple.”
