The mother of one has lost 40 pounds (18.1 kg) since January 2024. through November 2024, and her simple four-step weight loss “formula” is a great example of how simple, sustainable changes can lead to significant results. Her weight loss steps include setting realistic goals, being consistent and patient, eating nutrient-dense foods, staying hydrated and active. In a recent post, Maddie shared before and after photos of her weight loss and wrote, “The changes in body shape and composition motivate me to stay on track. Don’t be too hard on yourself, be patient and consistent. Hope this helps…”

Here are her top 4 weight loss tips

1. Combined strength training and cardio (4-6 times a week)

Maddie said: “I’ve been combining strength training with cardio to build muscle and boost my metabolism. This combination helps burn calories efficiently and supports overall fitness.”

2. Moisturize with 2-3 liters of water daily

“Drinking plenty of water helps: suppress appetite, increase energy, flush out toxins and support digestion,” she said.

3. Balanced nutrition: 80 percent healthy, 20 percent flexible

“Eating 80 percent whole, nutrient-dense foods provides essential vitamins and minerals, while allowing 20 percent flexibility for treats and catering. This balance supports a healthy mind and satisfaction,” Maddie said.

4. Progress tracking with photos every 10 days

She added: “Regular photos help monitor visual progress as the scale can be misleading due to: water retention, muscle gain, hormonal changes, plateaus.”
