When caught by traffic police officers, most people react seriously or with fear, but one woman took a completely unexpected approach that stunned netizens and officers alike. Instead of apologizing or arguing, she started mimicking the popular cartoon Shinchaneven calling himself “Shinchan” during interactions. Her playful antics, captured on video, quickly went viral, sparking amusement and disbelief on social media.

The incident came from Haryana and was shared by Omar Kataria, the police officer in the video.

The woman’s playful behavior, including introducing herself in a cartoonish voice as “Shinchan Nohara,” has become an internet sensation. Completely unconcerned about the seriousness of the situation, she turned an ordinary stop into a moment of unexpected humor. She boldly announces: “Chief Hun Shinchan NoharaNo one can take me.” (I am Shinchan Nohara. No one can take me.)

Omar Kataria maintained his composure and professionalism throughout the video. Even when he informed the woman of her list of violations — including riding without a helmet, rear-ending, driving without a license plate and running a red light — and the resulting fine, she continued her humorous portrayal, even jokingly suggesting that the officer confirm her “identity” with the mother.
A passer-by intervened in their conversation and offered to pay the fine on behalf of the woman. He also asked the officer to let her go. However, Officer Kataria remained firm, humorously warning her that without a helmet, “Yamraj (god of death)” might come after her. Undeterred by the remark, the woman brazenly responded by asking if Yamraj was the officer’s father and reiterated, “No one can take me. My name is Shinchan Nohara.”

The woman was finally released after another passer-by asked the police to be lenient with her. The woman, without departing from her character, thanked the man, calling him a good Samaritan, and left the scene without paying the fine. The video has garnered more than 12.2 million views, sparking laughter and debate online.
One viewer joked: “Shinchang in real life – 2024 just keeps getting better!” Another user commented: “And they say cartoons don’t affect people!”
