The official account of the design house shared the details in an Instagram post featuring pictures of Nita Ambani in a gorgeous saree. “The couture ensemble, created over 1,900 hours, effortlessly combines classic ari work with intricate French knots. Paired with a contemporary crewneck blouse, it epitomizes Tarun Tahiliani’s signature blend of tradition and contemporary elegance. To get the flawless drape and texture, artisans have embroidered traditional jamewar scarves, which are then painstakingly hand-painted, printed and further embroidered. Adding to Nita Ambani’s love of Indian craftsmanship and sarees, the design house explained, “Nita has always loved and appreciated fine Indian things and has a wonderful collection of jamewar and traditional textiles, and was a long-time patron of jamewar Tarun Tahiliani. Nita Ambani kept it minimal and stylish with statement diamond earrings with pearl detailing. She teamed it up with a stunning floral patterned diamond bangle in one hand. Nita Ambani wore her tresses loose with a center parting and styled them in wavy locks. Wearing minimal make-up, with black eyeliner, drawn brows, rosy cheeks and a hint of pink lipstick, Nita Ambani added a small black bindi to give the overall look a more Indian touch.
