10-minute arm and shoulder workout
Saachi explained in the post that the workouts are beginner-friendly, quick and effective. They can be done at home or at the gym – you can do it alone or with a training partner. All you need is a set of dumbbells. She suggested doing 7 movements and each exercise should be performed for 12 repetitions and 3 approaches. “Start with a light pair of 3-pound (1.36) dumbbells for the first set. If you think it’s doable, then do 15 reps in set 2,” she added.
1. In the first exercise, when the arms were spread and brought back, Saachi held the arms close to the body and pushed them outwards and inwards.
2. She did a dumbbell shoulder press for the second exercise, moving both arms up and down.
3. From the dumbbell shoulder press, she switched to a movement where she raised and lowered her forearm.
4. In the fourth exercise, keeping her hands in the same position, she brought her forearm in, in front of her chest, and out. In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th exercises, she maintained a 90 degree angle with her arms.
5. In the fifth exercise, the influencer raised one hand up and held the other at a 90-degree angle. She repeated the movement in turn.
6. In the sixth exercise, Saatchi pulsed for 30 seconds.
7. Finally, for the seventh movement, she extended her arms forward and parallel to the ground. She then spun them in an action that mimicked driving a car.
“Do this workout twice this week; it’s meant to hit you on the arms and shoulders. We will gradually build strength and movements. I lost 90 pounds naturally doing these workouts at home,” she offered.
