When it comes to finding proper skin care for teens, for many parents, choose delicate products and whether they should use those used by adults on sensitive skin, causes a big problem. Moreover, today’s teenagers are bombed with predominant advice and choosing products on social media. Most of this is unreliable.

In the message of Instagram, shared on April 11, D -R (Major) Gurven Varaich Harekar, certified dermatologist, cosmetologist and trichologist – MBBS, MD, told about the correct skin care and hair care procedure. That’s all she offered as a dermatologist for a teenager.

Morning skin care

1. Wash face: Use a soft detergent depending on the skin type.

2. Moisturizer: Use gel moisturizer.

3. Sunscreen: Teens can use an adult sunscreen or combo -product such as a moisturizer with SPF (sun protection factor).

Night skin care

1. Face wash: Use a soft cleanser for dry skin, and go to the product based on salicylic acid for oily skin.

2. Moisturizer: For oily skin, use a gel moisturizer (just like the morning), while for dry skin, use a moisturizer.

3. Targeted Treatment: D -R Harek advised teenagers to go for targeted therapies, how to advise acne dermatologist or pigmentation.

Care for the scalp

1. Frequency of shampoo: minimum 3 times a week.

2. What a shampoo for use: If you have a thick scalp, do not use sulfate shampoos. If you have dandruff, use antifungal shampoo at least once a week. Finally, use shampoo without sulfate for dry and sensitive scalp.

3. Pressure: Dr. Harekar suggested not to lubricate the skin oily or prone to dandruff, and apply the oil once or two a week for dry scalp before the shampoo.

Lifestyle

1. Avoid sweet drinks, including cold coffee.

2. Eat a diet rich in protein: Dr. Harekar suggested eating eggs that have “all the necessary amino acids”.

3. Be physically active: The dermatologist suggested playing at least one sport.

4. Regular sleep cycle: Fill at least 8-9 hours of sleep.

D -r Harek also wrote out some parental tips in his post, which included:

1. The house must be their sanctuary: “Your teenager may already be confronted with tearing or bullying at school. The house should be their sanctuary, not another source of the court,” D -Harek wrote.

2. She advised her parents to avoid comments on skin, weight or appearance. “Even the good comments can enhance uncertainty,” she said.
