A woman's unusual matchmaking ad has gone viral for THIS funny reason

Breaking down the patriarchy and sexist matrimonial ads we often see in newspapers, a matrimonial ad by a feminist looking for a groom has gone viral online. Reason: Well, a woman is looking for a suitable man with some very specific personality traits that are not usually found in traditional marriages. It got a lot of attention on social media, and netizens were not only surprised, but also amused!
In a matrimonial note published in a leading English daily, a 30+ year old self-confident feminist working in the social sector against capitalism is looking for a rich and handsome man. Her unusual requirements include that her groom-to-be must be between 25 and 28 years old, the only son of his parents, he must have an established business, and he must own a huge bungalow or at least a 20-acre farmhouse! And a man must know how to cook; after all, why should cooking be a woman’s only job?
The exact marriage agreement reads: “WANTED for staunch feminist, educated girl 30+, short hair, piercing, works in the social sector against capitalism. Want good looking, good build, only 25-28 years, only son with business in East, bungalow / Farm house of atleast 20 acres, must know cooking.
The ad photo was shared online by an X (formerly Twitter) user named Rishi Bagri. “A 30-year-old feminist woman working against capitalism needs a 25-year-old wealthy guy with a well-established business. Koi Ho tou batana,” his tweet read along with an image of a funny matrimonial ad that soon went viral on the internet.

Many netizens were surprised by this ad. While one user commented: “Tell me is this a joke?” another said: “She claimed her looks, not her properties, but listed the property requirements of potential clients. Is this feminism!?”. Another user joked: “This means men can’t fart in peace now.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that quirky matrimonial ads have caught people’s attention. A few days ago, another ad, this time by a self-taught investor from Meerut, went viral online, claiming that he not only earned INR 29 lakh per year, but also earned 54 percent annually!
