Bollywood is celebrating India’s most iconic fashion designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who is celebrating 25 years in the world of fashion. Recognized worldwide as one of the most respected and renowned designers, Sabyasachi organized an elegant and fashionable show in Mumbai that featured B-list divas like Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Sonam Kapoor and others. Let’s take a closer look at Alia Bhatt’s sensual yet elegant ensemble from the event that cemented her as the perfect Met Gala 2024 muse for Sabyasachi.
Sticking to the all-black dress code the day before, Alia donned an original Sabya saree and dazzled in black silk. She opted for a black Murshidabad silk saree with a monochrome shade showing the sun flowing streams that looked iconic and made Alia the queen of the moment. However, her gold micro-gem embellished blouse stole the show and was hand-painted with semi-precious stone appliqués, teal-colored crystal, tinted sequins, metallic accents and hand-cut sequins.

The gorgeous blouse with almost backless neckline, deep U-neckline and wide straps was a hit. The silk saree looked timeless on her, but the blouse gave the look versatility. Stealing the show in just seconds with a golden look, the blouse added an unusual charm to the flowy saree and gave the whole ethnic look.
Alia kept accessories to a minimum and brought in the chic drama with long dangling gold and silver studded earrings, while she refrained from showing off necklaces and bracelets. For her makeup, she kept her foundation glowing with a dewy touch and added heavy strokes of highlighter, perfectly blended with a hint of pink blush.

She also opted for dark eyes and muted eyeshadow, she opted for a nude lipstick and sealed the deal with a small black bindi. Keeping it in a neat high bun with soft dyed curls in the front, Alia gave all the right reasons to be the designer’s favorite muse of all time.
