According to a new poll, the ordinary American feels “completely healthy” in 19 days of a typical month. A new spoken study of 2000 Americans, published on May 27, showed that 72 percent of people live in medium and poor health, only 28 percent feel completely healthy at any time. The survey shows that 51 percent of people surveyed live with recurrent health problems that lasted six months and longer. Fatigue leads to a pack of problems, affecting the Americans on average 12.9 days a month, after which the mood in 10.1 days a month, digestive problems for 9.8 days a month and headaches 7.5 days a month.
The problems with the intestines are quite common
About a third of the Americans said they considered themselves a person with “bowel problems”, and 30 percent said they regularly engage in bloating, indigestion and constipation. These problems associated with bowel health have been reportedly so common that almost half (48 percent) respondents said these issues make them avoid sex.
According to the poll, Gen Z became the largest group suffering from bowel problems and young Americans experience digestive problems at unprecedented tariffs.
Moreover, more than half of the employed (65 percent) said in the poll that they feel that their lack of well -being affects their efficiency at work, and more than four stated that they limited their ability to play sports. In fact, 15 percent also stated that not a good feeling affected their ability to fully enjoy the time with their family.
The consequences of these findings
Poll findings conducted by the Balbatnik, on behalf of the best doctor, show that the interviewed Americans gradually reduced their health expectations without understanding it. “If your intestine is unbalanced, everything else begins to suffer: work, sleep, intimacy and even simple joy to be with your family,” said Katie Lucas, CMO from the best doctor.
She added: “We often try to convince ourselves that health is a private question, but statistics show otherwise. If we do not feel good, it affects every aspect of our lives. The healing of the intestine is not only in improving digestion; it is about the return of the parts of life that we are gradually losing.”
