The latest Toei Animation update has left ONE Piece fans, as the studio announced a new special episode rather than restoring the main story. After a six -month break, the audience hoped that the story would come again, but instead were met with what many see as a distraction filler. The decision caused the reaction on the Internet, and the fans called on the studio for too slow and focus on the lateral content than the actual progress.

If you are a fan of One Piece, you probably know that the anime was at a six -month break, during which the series will return with improvements. However, there are now a lot of chatter and ambiguous opinions related to its return. The Toei animation studio is now facing a backlash for another reason, fans are upset by the fact that even after such a long break, the studio continues to produce the content of the filler, calling them “special episodes”. The last announcement of another special episode left many fans of disappointed and disappointed.
Responding to this, one wrote: “He took a 6 -month break, still took a few weeks of episodes of the filler. How to completely kill the anime impetus. Thank you Teei.” Another added: “They abused us there. We had a 6-month break as a reminder.” The third continued to add: “Special damn episode, I will wait for the usual episode, but that’s okay.”
When will one Piece come out of the special episode?
A special episode entitled “Dr. Chopero’s Adventure Check – Good Crossroads” will be released on June 22, 2025 in Japan.
