It was an exciting evening in Taj Palats, New Delhi this Friday (March 21, 2025) when viewers witnessed the heartfelt celebration Auther Awards 2025 Announcements of the winners. Auther Awards, a joint venture between JK Paper and ., notes women who add the value and creativity of the literary space. Some of the biggest names in the literary world took part from the authors, publishers and academics to fans, politicians and artists.
International Winner of the 2022 Booker Prize Geetanjali Shree was the main guest of Auther Awards 2025. While the actress-author Ila Arun was an honorary guest for the event.

A Auther Awards 2025 winners They were announced in four main categories, namely-publishing, popular science, children’s literature and debut. A Reward for lifelong achievementsThe prize was also awarded in the popular choice (based on internet interrogation) and the award of the best manuscript.
Auther 2025- This time two author authors were provided by two women! While Tanya James received the award for “Loot” (published by Penguin Hamis Hamilton), Namita Gokhale received the award for “Never Never” (published Tiveer Tiger).
Auther Awards 2025- The best author’s non-fiction was given not one, but by two authors. The award was awarded to Arun Roy for “Personal Is Policity: Memoirs of the activist” (published HarperCollins Publications India), and Alpa Shah for “Deprivation: Bhima Koregaon and Search for Democracy in India” (also published by Harpercolins India).
Auther Awards 2024- The best author’s debut prize was awarded to Basa for the book “The Fall of Kabul: Despatches with Chaos” (published Bloomsbury India).
Auther Awards 2024 for the best children’s author was also presented by two women -writers! The author of the cry was awarded for her book “Art-This VoicEvika”, published by Ektara Trust, while Andalib Wajid received the award for “Henna Start-Up”, which published Duckbill Books.
Two writers won the award for the popular choice: Asta Gill for his book “STM: Student-Teaching Minister” and Divsargun Kaur for the book “Sri Gurgobind Sahib Ji”, for getting the maximum vote on the Internet.
The Indian author and journalist -veteran, the Gokhal, was awarded the Lifespy Award this year for his eternal contribution to Indian literacy.
Finally, Auther Awards 2025 for the best manuscript was handed Tista Hijli for “Alchemia of Love”. Meanwhile, Indian A. Deo was the best rubic of the manuscript. The award recognizes and inspires the novice writers to take off their ideas.
Process selection
The list, short -list and winners of Auther Awards 2025 were selected after numerous screening layers, after which detailed discussions among the famous jury. This year . received more than 2000 records provided by both publishers and authors for cherished Women’s Rewards which is the first of its kind in India. The jury, which considered the books of women, were published in India from December 2023 to November 2024.
