Coldplay fever has gripped the city as the band will perform in Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21. The four piece band is set to take the stage at DY Patil Stadium, Nerul. The upcoming concert was marred by ticket scalping issues and even technical issues. So, if you haven’t been able to get tickets at this price, restaurants and eateries in Mumbai are cashing in on the trend and organizing some special themed nights over the weekend.

At BiggSmall Cafe in Prabhadevi, you can feel the passion of Coldplay with a curated playlist of the band’s greatest hits, along with glow-in-the-dark LED wristbands just like a concert. Ankita Pujari, Director, Shiv Sagar Foods & Resorts Pvt Ltd says, “The entire city is buzzing with excitement for the upcoming concert, so we decided to tap into the excitement and bring the energy to our venue with a special themed event. . At this Coldplay music night, our DJ will be spinning a mix of the band’s greatest hits.” Fans of this international band can head to the Mizuki After Party – a sky full of stars to hear their best songs. Held at the Marriott Executive Apartments in Navi Mumbai, this party will take place on Saturday from 10 PM onwards.

Fall in love with this international artist all over again this weekend as Bar Ministry in Navi Mumbai hosts two fun events. Manager Vinay Chaudhary says, “The Aaryan Gala will set the mood on Saturday with the music of Coldplay, while DJ Aayush will be rocking the decks and entertaining guests at the after party on Sunday.”

Coldplay’s upcoming concert is the talk of the town and all Poco Loco outlets are getting in on the craze too. Mega, founder of Poco Loco, says: “While everyone was talking about the gig, we wanted to pay tribute to the band in the form of what we know best – cocktails. We’ll have a Coldplay-themed menu throughout the week, with drinks named after some of the band’s most popular songs.”
