More on Deepika and Ranveer’s outfits
Deepika’s Anarkali suit features round neck, full length sleeves, wide borders embellished with soft pink embroidery, golden gota patti on the hem, appliqués on the hem and full body hem. Deepika paired it with a heavily embroidered dupatta which she draped over her shoulders. The pink dupatta adds a beautiful contrast to the ivory ensemble and features tassels on the borders, zardozi work and lakaria work.
Deepika accessorized the ensemble with statement gold jewellery, including jhumkas with ear chains, a choker necklace and a heavy emerald-studded neckpiece. She tied her hair in a center parted bun and accessorized with a hair band to give this outfit a sleek touch. Finally, she opted for embroidered juttis, pink lips, feathered brows, blush cheeks, mascara-adorned lashes, glittery eyeshadow and winged eyeliner.
Meanwhile, Ranveer made a statement in an ivory embroidered ensemble. Its sherwani jacket features bandhgala neckline, open front, full sleeves, zardozi work and sequin embroidery. He wore a jacket with a matching kurta with a slit neckline and zardozi embroidery. Finally, he completed the ethnic look with silk churidar pants, black embroidered majaris, tiny hoop earrings, vintage glasses, a scruffy beard and hair in a man bun.
