Naga Chaitanya has always been secretive about his Morse code tattoo on his left arm, but while promoting his film ‘Laal Singh Chadha“, the actor told about it. When asked about his craziest fan experiences, he finally shared the tattoo’s story, revealing its deep personal significance.

In a previous interview with Bollywood Bubble, Naga Chaitanya mentioned that some fans tried to copy his tattoo without understanding its meaning. He even expressed that he would never recommend anyone repeat it. He explained, “I met some fans who tattooed my name and imitated this tattoo (points to his arm). This is not what you would want.’
The actor revealed that the Morse code tattoo represents his wedding date with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. “This is the day I got married,” he said, stressing that it had a special meaning for him. He also added that he wouldn’t want fans to get the same tattoo as it was very personal to his journey.

After his divorce from Samantha Naga Chaitanya was asked if he would ever consider changing his tattoo. With a laugh, he replied, “I didn’t think about that until now. There is nothing to change. Everything is fine.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife, also had a tattoo in his honor: ‘Tea’ inked above her waist near her ribs. She even showed off the tattoo in some of her photos. However, during an Ask Me Anything session on her social media, Samantha hinted that she regrets getting a tattoo, advising her younger self: “Never get a tattoo.”

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha tied the knot in 2017 in two separate ceremonies. Unfortunately, their marriage ended in 2021 when they announced their divorce. Naga Chaitanya has since become engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala and the couple exchanged rings in a private ceremony in Hyderabad on August 8.
