Homemade Avocado Hair Oil Kitto Bahu Swears By Her Mother Vicky Kaushal: The Recipe!

Talk about an exemplary daughter-in-law. Katrina Kaif’s warm and precious equation with her relatives is not really hidden. In a recent interview with The Week, Katrina revealed that while skincare is her passion, she swears by mother-in-law Veena Kaushal’s hair oil. She said: “I love skincare equally because I have very sensitive skin. I love fun treatments like gouache. I know I’m late to the party but I’ve just started using it and it’s amazing. My mother-in-law is too makes me this hair oil with onion, amla, avocado and two or three other home remedies.’

A rule of thumb for making any homemade oil blend is to choose a carrier oil. It can be coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, or absolutely anything else you like. For the onion oil, process the onion in a blender and strain through a sieve. Now add the carrier oil to the juices. For amla oil, peel and grind amla and simmer with carrier oil. Strain the same and discard the amla pieces. Avocado oil is the easiest thing here – take out an avocado, mash it and add a carrier oil. Now just mix it all together, massage your scalp and rinse well. That’s it!
