The festive spirit officially arrived in Jammu and Kashmir when the crescent moon was seen, which indicates the end of the sacred month of Ramadan and the beginning of the festivities of the ID-Ul-Fitro. The Great Mufti Nasir-Ul-Islam confirmed on Sunday that the ID-Ul-Fitro would be celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025, bringing the epistery of joy and unification of the region.
Night of waiting and excitement
As the news about the moon spread through J & K, the families gathered in anticipation, exchanging warm wishes and making final preparation for the great celebration. Confirmation came after numerous reliable witnesses reported the observation of the crescent moon, officially signaling the arrival of the ID-Ul-Fitro.
Spirit of ID-ul-Fitro: Faith, Family and Celebrations
ID-ul-Fiter, also known as the Fasting Fasting Festival, is a time of joy, thanks and cottages. This day begins with a special prayer of the ID when thousands of believers go to the mosque and Aidga, who thanked for Ramadan’s blessing.
