The festive air of the ID-Ul-Fitro officially accepted India when the Moon Crescent Shouval was spotted in several states, including ASAM, Manipur, Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. Muslims throughout India will be celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Confirm Jamm Masjid
The announcement was made by Imam Jamm Masjid, Shaban Bukhara, who shared his hearts with the Muslim community.
“The Moon Shawal-Ul-Mucarora for ID al-Fitro has been spotted in several states, including Delhi. Officially announced that ID al-Fiter will be observed on Monday, March 31, 2025. I continue my heartfelt Id Mubarak, who wants all of you,” he said.
Preparations in the murdock through Delhi
With the confirmation of the sight of the moon, markets and streets in the old Delhi, especially around Chandeni Chauk and Jamm Masjid, buzzing with excitement. Families make the latest purchases of traditional clothing, sweets and festive delicacies to mark a special case. From the fragrance of Byrian and kebabs that fill the streets, until the last minute for Sewaiyan and dried fruits, the city is completely immersed in preparation for Ida.
Improved security measures for peaceful ID-Ul-Fitro celebration
Earlier this week, the tweet on X warned that the Police of the National Capital of India would be vigilant during the ID on March 31 – April 1 as “some illegal Rohing/Bangladesh/Pakistani Muslims could lead to Hindu Muslim riots or bomb blasts in Chandi Chavk, Jama Maydi, Jachang.”
In anticipation of the Great Assembly, Delhi police have strengthened security measures to ensure a safe and peaceful ID celebration. According to preliminary reports of PTI news agencies, the authorities have already increased safety in East Delhi both for prayers on Ramadan and ID last Friday.
The Delhi police official confirmed that the teams in all police stations of the East district informed about the maintenance of law and order. The maximum presence of police, patrolling and safety pickets were planned to provide smooth celebrations.
As Delhi is preparing for the ID-Ul-Fitro, the focus remains in the spirit of the festival, generosity and together. In the early morning, the ID prayer in the mosques to feasts and charities, the celebration promotes brotherhood and unity.
