Like every year, Swiggy has released a report on the most ordered products in 2024. And again this year, Biryani continues its reign as India’s most loved dish, with 83 million orders this year on the food delivery app, an average of 158 per minute, marking its ninth consecutive year at the top.

According to a report released by Swiggy, the Dosa stood out with 23 million orders, cementing its place as a culinary favourite.
In 2024, one consumer in Bengaluru reportedly spent Rs 49,900 on pasta, consuming nearly 55 Alfredo dishes, 40 mac and cheese plates and 30 servings of spaghetti.
In 2024, Bengaluru stayed true to its culinary heritage by consuming 2.5 million masala dos. Meanwhile, Delhi, Chandigarh and Kolkata continued to favor their signature dishes: Chole, Aloo Paratha and Kachoris, respectively, according to the report.
It is also reported that in 2024, the chicken roll became the most ordered snack with an impressive 2.48 million orders. Momos was next with 1.63 million orders, while Potato Fries also made its mark with 1.3 million orders. The chicken burger became the midnight snack with a remarkable 1.84 million orders placed between 12am and 2am.
