Hugging at bedtime, the couples feel calm

The study studied 143 heterosexual couples who were 13 years old together. They were asked about their sleep and how close they slept with their partner in bed, from hugs and spoon to sleep to face. Researchers were able to identify patterns from these behavior. Those who slept closely, hugging or spoon, had much less stress and emotional uncertainty. It also assures the one who has an alarming style of attachment, mitigating stress. Being next to someone while sleeping helps both partners feel comfortable.
Individual sleep style doesn’t matter
No matter what you sleep on the side, on your back or on your stomach, there is no connection between your preferred position and how you sleep with your partner. Moreover, the researchers noted an interesting understanding that sometimes people even change their regular habits in a dream when they sleep with a partner. This shows that the emotional support that stems from synchronization with his partner at bedtime becomes a priority.
The reason for all these good vibrations comes due to the release of oxytocin, the hormone “feel good” connected to the connection. Probably so hugging feels so cozy.
