Kriti Sanon’s easy 7-step morning skincare routine includes an ice bath, lots of sunscreen, and no moisturizer


Kriti Sanon’s secret to beautiful, hydrated and hydrated skin is her morning skincare routine. In a recent video, the actress shared the steps she takes in the morning, which are pretty easy to follow. Her 7-step routine is pretty interesting, from ice baths and detox masks to ditching moisturizer and not shying away from sunscreen.

In the clip, she said: ‘My morning skincare routine is very, very simple and I don’t take too much time [with it]. I don’t do a mask every day, but on special days when I feel like detoxing my skin, I use a mask,” shared Kriti. Check out her routine:

Step 1 – Immersion in ice

Kriti Sanon starts her day with warm lemon water. After washing his face and cleaning his hands, the actor begins his morning skin care routine. The first step is immersion in ice. She called ice an underrated skin care tool because it soothes skin inflammation, clears oil and dirt from pores, and helps her wake up.

Step 2 – Detox mask

When the actor has a shoot in the morning, she tries cleansing masks for the skin. And when her period is approaching, she uses a moisturizing mask.

Step 3 – Patch under the eyes

In the second stage, she makes a patch under the eyes. Kriti uses a green tea and caffeine eye mask. She places the patch directly on top of the mask and leaves the patch and mask on her skin for 15 minutes.

Step 4 – Homemade toner

After removing the plasters and mask with a clean soft cloth and warm water, Kriti sprays a homemade toner with glycerin and rose water on her face to make it slightly moist. “For those who don’t know about glycerin, it’s an underrated product that hydrates your skin, adds moisture to your skin and locks in that moisture, as well as having antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties,” she added.

Step 5 – Serum

After toner, she applies a serum with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, alpha-arbutin for uneven and pigmented skin, kakaru plum extract for vitamin C, and aloe vera extract to hydrate the skin.

Step 6 – Sunscreen

Kriti revealed that she doesn’t like using a moisturizing sunscreen, so she opts for a sunscreen that can hydrate and protect her skin from sun damage. β€œMore is more with sunscreen, so don’t be shy and make sure you cover your entire face, neck and lids. 80 to 90 percent of premature aging is due to skin damage, so don’t skip the sunscreen β€” whether you’re indoors or out,” she added.

Step 7 – Lip balm

The actress finishes her daily routine with a moisturizing and glossy lip balm. She revealed that she wears it everywhere she goes.
