The upcoming nine-member multinational K-pop group POLARIX, consisting of members from China, Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan, is set to debut in 2025. Formed by Cube Entertainment and Idol Youth Entertainment, the group emerged from IQIYI’s survival show Star Boys.
On December 28, 2024, the finale of the show was broadcast, in which the official name of the group – POLARIX – became known. The final lineup includes Pentar, Hangyul, Li Junhyuk, Xu Shihuan, Yang Donghwa, Li Deul, Zai, Shao Ziheng, and Xin Che. Shao Ziheng

Born in Beijing, China, he is the son of actor Shao Bing and actress Zhang Pei. A former SM Entertainment trainee (2018–2022), he trained for four years but did not debut. He later joined Chromosome Entertainment (2022–2024) but was never officially introduced. He made his solo debut as Owen with the single “Reckless” on October 10, 2024. Zheng also made his acting debut in the 2015 film. “Baby, I’m Sorry.”

Born in Oryu-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, South Korea, he was a member of “Produce X 101”, ranked 70th and eliminated in the first round. He trained for 2 years and 3 months before joining the show. He trained at DSP Media from 2019 to 2024. He is a former member of MIRAE (2021–2024) and worked part-time in a coffee shop on weekends after the group disbanded.

Chinese-born Shihuan also competed in the survival show Fan’s Choice, but left the competition due to personal reasons. He trained at Flat9 Dance and Vocal Academy and was previously under WAKE ONE. Shihuan is most confident in his visuals.
