The cover and duck weaving, which gives birth to an Indian towel, makes you proud of the rich textile culture of our country. Demonstrate the history and versatility of Indian textiles is an exhibition, the weaving of the future 2.0, which opens today in the capital to celebrate the National Handmade Day (August 7).

This year, a regenerative publication will be noted in the regenerative edition of the Indian Textile. More than 30 grassroots initiatives are involved. There are also exhibits of those dedicated to the construction of a circular textile system with low impact, enshrined in indigenous knowledge and environmental responsibility.

We look forward to celebrating the National Handmade Day with people who are passionate about climates, community and regeneration, Indira Varma, fashion designer and textiles with DHI Earth, “We demonstrate our last range of intelligent everyday people for both men and women, as well as some corporate sars and Klyarin.
The celebration of manual, stability and circular practices will be 23 ° N 69 ° E, which presents a collection of printed manual block and manual color made using organic cotton. “We will also demonstrate the textile waste created using fabric residues from our studio in Delhi,” says Anas Sheikh, practicing the textile artist and founder of this brand of clothing, adding: “This exhibition is reminiscent of why the crafts are important and how to bring care and the intention.”

Some intriguing installations will also be presented, namely SoundCape from Sonam Khetan, Cotton 2.0 from Cora Design Collaborative: “What if every thread is remembered?” from Lafaani and 11.11. These projects are a reflection of the ethos of the exhibition, where textiles are not only products, but also live stories about culture, ecology and collective fantasy.

D -Mr m bio, Commissioner of the Director (Handlooms), adds: “This exhibition acts as a testimony of the stability, beauty and deep cultural importance of India’s handmade traditions. Formation of the future when towels are not just marked, but as a living system of knowledge, community and environmental harmony.”
