He wrote in his caption: “DIY masks can give your hair a quick boost, but when it comes to long-lasting results, it’s all about the right ingredients. Here’s why using cottage cheese and eggs externally isn’t enough and what really helps your hair health! What he said about masks with his own hands

Amit Thakur said in the video, “Simply applying curd and eggs on your hair will not make it healthy. While cottage cheese is rich in lactic acid and helps balance your hair’s pH, making it more conditioned, it doesn’t repair hair damage. Eggs have protein, vitamins and fatty acids; but when you apply it externally to the hair, the protein molecules are too large to penetrate inside the hair shaft.’

So, these DIY masks are not suitable? Explaining “what really works,” Amit said, “They coat your hair to make it look smoother and shinier, but they don’t help make your hair last. So what really works? Products that have good formulations that use active ingredients derived from all these natural foods like curd, egg and rice. They can do wonders for your hair.”

Many commented on his video, including actor Janhvi Kapoor, who wrote, “Main toh dahi aur ande hi lagati hooooon oh (I only put curd and eggs on my hair).” Others also shared their amazement, with one person commenting: “I had severe hair loss a few years ago and only egg and cottage cheese helped me…they stopped the hair loss.”
