Rick Oouns turned Palais de Tokyo into the Distopic scene on the Paris Fashion Week, demonstrating a collection that is fused by ancient and futuristic elements.
On Thursday, Rick Owns brought a bold dystopian energy into the Paris Fashion Week, turning the Pala -de -Tokio into the old industrial scene. The stroke lights cut through the darkness like futuristic prison bars, when shaved models with horrible contact lenses went into elevating boots and jackets with oversized, inverted collars. The result is an alien, obsessive, but unreal and restless aesthetics. Sustainability corresponds to the Gothic drama
The collection has attracted a long -term connection between the American designer with the industrial city of Concordia in northern Italy, where his work was formed by his creative vision. “It seems like this is a closed life – this is what it is necessary to focus on the achievement of something strange and wonderful,” said Owns, reflecting on the inspiration behind the design.
The trimmed tops with exaggerated, rounded shoulders revealed the fragility of the torso during the flow, a hooded coat and flared pants with rabbits brought a sense of Gothic drama. The design felt like a mixture of ancient ritual and futuristic rebellion. The materials played a key role in creating a raw, industrial feeling of the collection.
Bold textures and sustainable skills
Skirts and chains made of manual leather, bleached alligator jackets and denim with bronze treatment with hacked surfaces add bold textures. The stability was also central, and the ecological certified wool thermal and prefabricated denim procedures that add collections.
David Bowie’s “Heroes”, who sang in French, German and English, added a restless background, giving the show reflection and emotional tone. While the Owns signature elements rise boots and exaggerated forms, they can feel familiar, its ability to press the boundaries and reject traditional beauty ideas retains its work powerful and thoughts.
