Poila Baisakh – This is the emotion for the Bengalis: Actor Rituparna Sengupta covers festive events, pay tribute to the mother

The Rituparna Segupta actor calls Poila Baisakh/Pohela Boishakh emotion when she resembles her childhood memories and her mother is brought to her.

As the Bengali community in the new year leads to prayers and thanks for the harvest today-on Puil Bays/Pachel Boyshah-Actor-producer Ritupar Sengopt describes it as more than “just the festival”. “Pohela Boishakh is an emotion for the Bengalis,” she says and clarifies: “This means fresh start – new clothing, new products and new enterprises and warm exchanges among the community.”

Thinking in the celebration of the festival as a child, Rituparno says: “We have been looking for blessings from our elders, and then we have a gun. We would put on new dresses and enjoyed a hearty Bengali food.

A 53-year-old boy who lost his mother at the end of last year admits that she misses her most today. “I miss my mother very much. For many years, many of my movies have released around this festival. This year my film (Puratawn, with the Veteran Shermila Tagore Veteran) made so well that I feel that Mom blessed her. This is a tribute to her and all the mothers who are a pillar for her holidaymakers,” she fastened.
