Saumiya Tandon has shared a sweet potato halwa recipe made with sweet potato, milk, kesar and nuts that can help us deal with sugar cravings while still eating healthy.

The actor’s Instagram profile is full of nutritious recipe videos, from sharing delicious and protein-packed salad recipes to showing us how to satisfy our sweet tooth in a healthy way. Sauma Tandon’s sweet potato halva recipe
The actor shared a video from his kitchen, where he prepares a sweet dish. Saumya mashed the boiled sweet potato in it, added it to the pot and boiled it well until it turned brown. Then she added some milk to it and boiled it for some time. She also added kesar and nuts to it. “I gave up sugar/all sugar substitutes, honey and jaggery 4 years ago. I eat only fruits and dried fruits and desserts made from them. This is a game changer. Try it! Will continue to post sugar/honey/jade free desserts and make you all believe we can eat sweet without sugar,” her caption read. In an earlier interview with HT Lifestyle D. Vidhi Chawla, founder of Fisico Diet and Skin Clinic, said: “Sweet potatoes are a nutritional powerhouse that offer a host of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They are especially rich in beta-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, which supports vision, skin health and immune function. A medium-sized sweet potato can meet your daily vitamin A needs.
