Sonam Kapoor adds another feather to her hat by becoming the brand ambassador of French luxury fashion house Dior. The actor is the new ambassador of India for the Dior Capture campaign.

She will join Dior’s star-studded line-up, which includes stars such as Oscar, Charlize Theron and Rosamund Pike, as well as Wimbledon champion and Olympic gold medalist Venus Williams. According to Dior’s statement, other stars involved in the campaign are Glenn Close, Leticia Casta and Xin Liu.
Sonam Kapoor joins Dior Capture
The Dior Capture campaign is the luxury fashion house’s first campaign in 2025. Sonam, who stars in the campaign, expressed her excitement in a statement released by Dior. She said: “Dior and I have a long-standing relationship and I have always been drawn to the way the brand combines its incredible heritage with the pulse of the modern world. It’s about being authentic and evolving with the times, and Dior Capture is exactly that.”
She added: “Thanks to extensive ground-breaking research, Dior has brought to life this unique serum with the Dior floral science. As Dior Capture shows the power of women around the world – regardless of their background, history and life choices – I hope that through this campaign people will embrace the best version of themselves – and draw from within to gain the confidence they need.”
Meanwhile, Dior Capture is a skincare line that has been rewriting the rules of anti-aging for 40 years. “Dior Capture expresses all the power of women around the world, regardless of their origins, their stories and their life choices,” the luxury house said.
Indian stars who are international brand ambassadors
Apart from Sonam Kapoor, several other Indian celebrities are ambassadors for international luxury brands. Priyanka Chopra is the brand ambassador for Tiffany & Co., Guess, TAG Heuer, Max Factor and Italian luxury brand Bvlgari.
Deepika Padukone is India’s first global ambassador for Louis Vuitton. She is also an ambassador for the French luxury brand Cartier. Finally, in 2023, Alia Bhatt became the Indian brand ambassador of luxury fashion brand Gucci. Additionally, last year global beauty brand L’Oréal Paris announced Alia as its new global brand ambassador.
