The allergy season can be unhappy for tens of millions of Americans when trees, grass and other pollen cause runny nose, itching, cough and sneezing.

Experts say that climate change leads to longer and more intense allergy seasons, but also note that seasonal allergy treatment has become more effective in the last decade.
