Acting actor Paresh Rawal about drinking his own urine for recovery after his knee injury caused a discussion. Medical experts share thoughts
In a recent opening, which caused a broad discussion, the actor Paresh Raving shared his unconventional recovery method after knee injury – having drunk his urine.

Paresh said he was injured in the film in Mumbai and was immediately sent to the hospital.
“Veeru Devgan (director, Dad actor Aji Deune) came to visit when I was in [hospital]”The 69-year-old guy said Lallantopa, adding, ‘He told me to drink his own urine in the morning.”
According to the actor, consumption of his own urine helped him to accelerate the release from the hospital from two and a half months to one and a half months.
The actor’s comments have caused intense discussions on the Internet, especially among medical experts. Dr. Kanivarpal Singh Gill also came to X to share his thoughts:
D -R Gavrov Prakash Bhardwa, Director of a Joint Operation for Replacing PSRI, says: “Urine mainly contains waste that the body tries to eliminate, such as urea, creatinine and salt. It does not contain nutrients and therapeutic agents.”
The d -R nutritionist Angean Potassium says: “From ayurvedic point of view, urine or Shivamba Chikitsa is mentioned in ancient texts. However, modern Ayurveda and scientific medicine strongly do not recommend drinking urine to treat certain injuries.” It adds: “Some people require personal benefits, but there is no serious clinical evidence that proves that it speeds up the recovery.”
