T Author and journalist Sudip Chakraborty’s book focuses on the 1978 abduction and murder of siblings Geeta, 17, and Sanjay, 15, in New Delhi. They lived with their parents, Navy Captain Madan Mohan Chopra and his wife Roma, in the service officers’ enclave at Dhaula Kuan. On August 26, on their way to the All India Radio studio on Parliament Street, the teenagers were apparently hitched to a Fiat from Gole Dak Khan roundabout. Four days later, their partially decomposed bodies were found in a wooded area known as the Ridge.
