What could be behind this?

The causes of shortness of breath are very much and some-korotkalous and harmless and others are more serious:

Conditions related to the lungs:

  • Bronchial asthma: Long -term inflammation of the respiratory tract, which can lead to narrowing and breathing problems.
  • Chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD): This is a combination of chronic bronchitis and emphysema, which is usually associated with smoking, and this causes an obstacle of air flow.
  • Pulmonary fibrosis: This is a fabric scars in the lungs/which allows them to become rigid and difficult to inflate.
  • Lung infections: for example, pneumonia or bronchitis, which causes irritation of the respiratory tract and lung tissue.
  • Pulmonary embolism: life -threatening clumps in the pulmonary arteries.

Other factors:

  • Being in the form (decoration): a source of frequent breathing at loads. This can be significantly improved by regular exercise.
  • Anemia: Reduced erythrocyte concentration entails a decrease in the transport of oxygen in the blood.
  • Obesity: Overweight causes the heart and the lungs work more.
  • Anxiety or panic attacks: they can cause shortness of breath, in most cases it is accompanied by other bodily manifestations.
  • Allergy: It can ignite the respiratory tract and make it difficult to breathe.

  • Some medicines: shortness of breath is a side effect of some medicines.

Don’t ignore these signals

The signals given by your body are value. Summy after load is not uncommon, but the underlying disease can gradually deteriorate and therefore is not noticed. Complications should be avoided, providing early detection and medicines, hence keeping your quality of life.

What to do:

  • Talk to your doctor: regardless of whether you have a diagnosed breathing condition, or worried shortness of breath, which is either new in appearance, disproportionately severe, or you interrogate in agreement with other symptoms, you should enroll in a meeting to talk to your healthcare provider.
  • Tell the truth about your symptoms: Give a specific story of how breathing is often going on, which improves it or aggravates it and any additional symptoms.
  • The necessary tests continue: your doctor may advise you to conduct such tests as lung function, chest X -rays, ECG or blood tests to detect the cause.
  • Take medical advice: When diagnosed, follow the prescribed treatment line, which may include changes in lifestyle, medicine or specialized treatment.
