Having spent the cool 4 897 000 on Ford Mustang Mach-E GTA smooth slice of an electric future, you can expect to include and catch a familiar breath of gasoline. But, according to Ford, you will need to replace this fragrance “Premium Water”, inspired by gasoline, aptly said “Mach-IAU”.
Mach-ea was born from the Ford Europe survey, which showed that 1 out of 5 drivers would miss the smell of gasoline when moving to electric cars. To satisfy this olfactory nostalgia and increase the Mach-E and F-150 lightning, Ford found a way to solve the void. However, the fragrance is not available for purchase, though Ford gave a vivid description for those who missed their debut at Goodwood speed a few years ago.

Created in collaboration with a sniffing partner on the scent, Mach-EAU is designed to cause gasoline flavor, including additional layers. The aroma includes the notes of the Mindonic benzaldehyde, which is often associated with the interiors of cars, and parazol that mimic the rubber smell of tires. These basic notes are enhanced by blue ginger, lavender, geraniums and sandalwood, adding smoky, metal and rubber elements. Also included “animal element” to give the aroma a thin nod on the inheritance of Mustang horses.
The introduction of the Maha-Sey was part of the Ford effort to help ease the transition for drivers who move to electric cars. According to the Ford poll, nearly 70% of drivers said that when switching to EV transition, 1 by 5 specifically called the smell that they would miss the most. In fact, the smell of gasoline is even higher than wine and cheese, in terms of the fact that people will most be missed when replaced with an electric car.

Ford hopes that the fragrance of Mach-Eu is of great interest in electric vehicles and helps to dispel the myths about EVS, convincing traditional cars fans in its potential. While Ford developed the aroma, it has not yet made it available to the public.
