Researchers found that the participants who ate the most butter had 15% higher risk of die than those who ate the least. On the other hand, those who ate the most vegetable alleys had 16% less risk than those who ate the least.
“People may want to consider that a simple diet swap that replaces the butter or olive oil can lead to significant long-term health benefits.
Researchers also conducted a replacement analysis to learn how to replace butter with vegetable oils. They found that the replacement of only 10 grams of butter (less than a tablespoon) with the same calories from vegetable oils could reduce death from cancer and total mortality by 17%.
“Even the cutting oil cut and the inclusion of more vegetable oils into the daily diet can have significant long-term health benefits,” Van said.
