These steps, they’re not just about superficial fixes, they’re about digging deep into what makes a relationship work, they’re about self-awareness, vulnerability and open communication’.

She went on to talk about five steps couples can take to increase their intimacy, connection, and intimacy.

1. Recognize conflict patterns

Identify any recurring hurtful interactions, such as arguing, avoiding, distancing, or criticizing. This awareness will help you prevent problems from escalating.
