Researchers have found certain personality traits such as conscientiousness or pleasantness that receive more favorable treatment from parents. Children are organized, responsible and self -disciplined, while nice children are good and easy. It makes sense, because upbringing becomes easier and more likely to get warmth.

The study revealed another angle for preferential treatment, albeit much more thin. Older children may not be absolute favorites, but they tend to gain more independence and freedom.
