The source also shared that it’s because Meghan reached out to her to “fix things.” However, David Beckham still resents Harry and Meghan.
In 2018, Meghan accused David Beckham’s wife Victoria of leaking information about her and Harry to the press back in 2018. The reason: Prince Harry had doubts about Victoria sharing a story with the press in which she claimed Meghan took her beauty advice. This caused a serious rift between Harry-Meghan and the Beckhams. Yes, David Beckham, who once said he was close to Prince Harry, cut off all negotiations with him.
However, an insider revealed OK! Magazine, “David and her (Victoria) boys still hold a serious grudge … they’re very protective of her and don’t feel she should give Meghan or Harry another chance. They’re just so hurt and angry on her behalf, and think that she will be too nice about all this. As for them, there is no going back.”
