Why e -cigarettes are bad for your health

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court of America ruled that the Office of Nutrition and Medicines acted legally, dismissing two flavored manufacturers used in electronic cigarettes. In the unanimous decision, written by Justice Samuel A. Alita, the judges supported the order of the FDA, which forbade retail traders of marketing flavored tobacco products.
Why so? Well, A law on prevention of family smoking and tobaccoThe 2009 law requires that the manufacturers of new tobacco products be allowed to permit the FDA, and their applications must submit that their products are “suitable for public health.”

What makes an e -cigarette?

E -cigarettes, VAPs and e -cigarettes use battery to heat a special fluid into the aerosol that users inhale. The juice that makes up an electronic cigarette usually contains nicotine (extracted from tobacco), propylene glycol, carcinogens, diocetils, heavy metals such as nickel, tin, lead, cadmium, benzene and much more.

In 2024, electronic cigarettes were most commonly used by tobacco products among high school and high school students, in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While aerosols contain nicotine, chemicals that cause cancer, heavy metals such as nickel, tin, lead, flying organic compounds (Los) and flavors such as diocetils, chemical associated with a serious lung disease.

In January 2018, the National Academy of Science, Technology and Medicine published a consensus report based on 800 different studies. He in his report states that there is moderate evidence that the youth who used electronic cigarettes are at increased risk of coughing and wheezing and an increase in asthma exacerbations. A study from the University of North Carolina showed that the two main ingredients in electronic cigarettes- propylene glycol and glycerol vegetables toxic for cells. They also contain acrolein, herbicide used to destroy weeds, which can cause lung injuries and COPD.
