Ambika said, Let’s learn from my mistakes…save and share with overweight people. She then listed the “biggest mistakes” that slowed her weight loss:
“I worked out twice a day thinking it would help”
She said: “I went to aerobics, Zumba classes. And he went there 2 times a day. Doing only cardio results in muscle loss and loose skin. Over training makes your body sore and you don’t get time to recover. It will slowly show on your face and hair.’ So what should you do? According to Ambika, “For best results, split cardio and strength training 60:40.”
“I drank fruit juices every day”
“Juices lose fiber when you strain the pulp, so they don’t keep you fuller for longer, and that puts you over your set calorie deficit for the day. For one glass of juice you need to mix 3-5 fruits. So you’re drinking too much sugar instantly, which causes your blood sugar to spike,” Ambika said, adding, “Always eat 1 to 2 whole fruits a day.”
“I completely missed lunch”
Ambika also said, “I just skipped dinner and instead of getting good results, it gave me stomach problems like gas, acid reflux and constipation. Soon I began to feel weak and lost my hair and the glow of my face as well. Always eat dinner between 7-8.30pm, keep it light and high in protein.”
